Myanmar Delegation led by Director General from the Intellectual Property Department, Ministry of Commerce participated in the 14th Meeting of China-ASEAN Heads of Intellectual Property Offices in Nanning City, People's Republic of China from September 15 to 19, 2023.
The meeting aimed to provide opportunities for discussing how to deepen mutual cooperation and exchanging experiences and practices on use of IP on development, so as to better promote the China-ASEAN IP Cooperation and to contribute to the economic and social development of the region.
During the meeting, Director General from the Intellectual Property Department presented the implementation of the role of Intellectual Property in Myanmar and other participants, Heads of the IP offices from the ASEAN Member States also emphasized and shared the use of the Intellectual Property from each country. And then it was also discussed on the 2023-2024 ASEAN-China IP Cooperation Work Program during the meeting. Myanmar Delegation also attended the China-ASEAN Cooperation Forum on Intellectual Property which was held side by side at the meeting.
