The Chairman of the Myanmar Competition Commission, Union Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, U Tun Ohn, gave an opening address at the meeting and the Vice-Chairman U Than Maung, Members of Commissionand the officials from the Commission Office were present at the meeting.
The meeting discussed in detail publishing the Myanmar Competition Commission Website;Cooperation between the Myanmar Competition Commission and the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation (FAS Russia); plans for the effective implementation of the Competition Law and the resolution actions regarding the cases of competition complaints.
The Myanmar Competition Commission was formed with the aims of transparent and fair enforcement of the law with a team of committed staff and experts, advocating and developing competition policy for good business environment for all stakeholders and advocating the benefits of competition policy and culture to all stakeholders with a team of committed staff and expert.
