1.     The Trade Training Institute, operating under the Department of Trade, Ministry of Commerce, inaugurated the International Trade Basic Course at the Conference Hall of the Export/Import Office in Yangon Region at 8:00 a.m. on November 4 2023. The course is scheduled to take place every weekend for a duration of four months.

2.     During the Opening Ceremony of the Course, His Excellency U Tun Ohn, the Union Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, delivered the opening address. The event was attended by U Myint Thura, Director General of the Department of Trade, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Commerce, Dr.Myo Thet , Vice-President of (Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI)) , UMFCCI’s members, trainers, and alumni.

3.     The International Trade Basic Course is set to take place every weekend, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays. With 45 male and 52 female participants, the total attendance is projected to reach 97. The course is anticipated to extend over a period of approximately four months.
